Methodology – how to write methodology, types and possibilities of using empirical methods

We have already mentioned that when searching for suitable methods, it is crucial to start from the formulated problem and the main questions, which also includes ideas about how the problem will be methodologically solved, and from what theoretical bases the empirical research will be based. This statement also includes the goal of the research on which the result of the professional work will depend (diploma and bachelor thesis). Thus, research issues can also be pursued through research questions that will allow the ‘writer / student’ to follow the fundamental research relationships.

Importance of empirical methods

Empirical research methods are methods in the immediate context of educational and educational facts and specific phenomena. Every empirical research is intended to serve as an inspiration for other experts and to allow further scientific research.

Determination of scientific hypothesis

The scientific hypothesis is determined on the basis of already known findings, the hypothesis should contain new possible statements that have not been investigated or proven yet. Greater emphasis is placed on demonstrating the thesis in comparison with the bachelor thesis.

In the hypotheses assumed, it is necessary to differentiate the consequences between phenomena or their relationships, which the writer / student will analyze. The hypothesis points to the research, so the emphasis is placed on it. The properties of a well-defined hypothesis can be summarized as follows.

  1. The hypothesis is expressed by a sentence, so we consider it a statement. In the conclusions, this hypothesis is either proven or disproved.
  2. The hypothesis represents relations and connections between two factors.
  3. Must be verifiable.
